Satin or gloss?
Satin has a softer, modern look and hides small imperfections. Gloss is more traditional and very hard-wearing. We use water-based finishes that don't yellow over time and have far less smell than old oil paints.
Staircases
Stairs and banisters take a lot of wear. We sand, fill knocks and finish in a durable paint, and we plan the work so the stairs stay usable.

Questions about doors & woodwork
Can you paint varnished doors?
Yes. We key the surface and use a bonding primer so the paint grips properly.
Do you paint uPVC or front doors?
Yes, with the right primer and exterior finish. Ask for this with an exterior job.
